I think you and I discovered True Blood at the same time. I devoured (pun intended) the first season about a week before the second started. Having never watched a full episode of Buffy (this may be the one TV/entertainment-related difference that actually exists between you and me) I can’t speak to your “Angel bites Buffy” scenario. I can, however, say without a doubt that Anna Paquin has been sort of blowing my mind on this show, in a sort of unhealthy way. What the hell is it about vampires that is so effing hot? Doesn’t matter; they are.
SO, as many of my readers (Hey, Doug) know, there is an episode of BTVS in which Angel bites Buffy. My best friend and I have always hailed this as a rather sexy scene in spite of its violence, our lack of being into S+M, and our non-desire to drain blood from others via fang-age. NEVERTHELESS, there is an episode of True Blood in which a similar sequence transpires, THAT BLOWS THE LID OFF that BTVS’ scene’s hot-factor. That is all. Back to watching.
